Do you accept Purchase Orders?

We do not accept purchase orders at this time. We only accept online orders by credit card. If you are a school district, please use a credit card and submit to your district for reimbursement.

Will I get a confirmation receipt?

Yes you will receive an invoice receipt to the email you used when ordering.

I did not get an email receipt?

Please check your junk or spam inbox as it may have been filtered by your email system into one of those boxes.

Will I get a shipment tracking number?

You will have access to your tracking number if you chose UPS shipping and created a user account. If so, you can log in to track the shipment.

Can I find out when new titles by specific filmmakers or categories are available on Fetcher?

Yes! Please sign up for our newsletter and we will alert you.

Can I purchase a title as a download?

We are currently working on making titles available for download to rent in the spring of 2010.

How do I contact you about having Fetcher Media distribute my titles?

Please use our contact form to contact us with information about your content and include any video preview links. We will contact you promptly and if interested in your content will pursue a non-exclusive contract.

What materials and format do I need to send?

We prefer a NTSC DVD-5 master, but can work with other formats if warranted. We also need artwork for the disc label and DVD retail case wrap. Please download our artwork template for guidelines. We also request any short video trailers related to your film or video content to add as a preview on our site as well as promote the title for purchase on social video websites.

How do royalties get distributed?

We pay royalties monthly to content owners on all sales form the previous month. If we accept your work, you will be given access to real-time sales activity that you can monitor daily.

How does Fetcher market the titles?

We utilize traditional online marketing strategies as well as a commitment to social media marketing that put us in the online communities that are interested in and talking about the niche content your titles may contain. For example reaching out to the American Indian communities for new Bollywood and Asian broadcast TV titles that have never been available for purchase in the US, or to connecting those interested in endangered animal education to the award winning Mike Pandey film "Shores of Silence". Our website also suggests content that may go together as a purchase is made, for instance "if you like this title, you may also like this". This feature and our searchable site help cross promote titles both within and across genres which help drive sales of all titles.

Do you pay a licensing fee for content?

We pay royalties per sale of each title.

Can you help create licensing deals into digital and international markets?

Yes. Our mission is to facilitate distribution of indie and niche content on all levels.

Why is Fetcher a good fit for TV episode and series content?

Since we digitally store each episode we offer the ability to let your customer create a custom DVD of the specific episodes they want and then auto-author the DVD on demand. We can also provide stand alone DVDs of pre-authored disc sets in a series. This model offers TV and broadcast content owners a unique one stop solution to monetizing hours of television programming that would be costly to take to market as a retail product with traditional manufacturing and fulfillment distribution models. I am a filmmaker with a finished film that is starting to show my film on the festival circuit, don’t I have to wait and see if I get another distribution deal before I sell the film on DVD?

We are non-exclusive and so we encourage filmmakers to leverage the interest in their film at festivals directly into sales of their title and create revenue and return on investment immediately. We are also open to working out a distribution contract before completion of your film in order for you to demonstrate ROI to potential investors during development.

Do you work with strategic partners and affiliates?

Yes. We can also co-brand the web pages(s) that contains your title library, for instance" Nomadic Pictures" and "Korean Broadcast System" so you can link to your content directly from you own website.

We are also interested in working with Film Festival directors to offer sales of films playing at their event and can offer a co-branded environment to promote and add value for their audiences as well as the filmmakers at the festival.
